She’s a natural and genuine cheerleader – such a gift when you’re making steps to create positive changes in your life. I’ve got a busy life and a busy brain, which had led to some unhealthy habits and behaviours that I was keen to shake up. In our first session, Dani helped me to identify areas that I wanted to focus on to improve my wellbeing – carving out ‘me time’ and making food and lifestyle choices to nourish my body, mind and soul. Our sessions were over Zoom, and Dani created a warm, safe and supportive space for me to get curious, learn and explore. Dani is an incredibly important part of the Whitstable Mental Health support network and has shown a consistent and dedicated commitment to supporting community resilience and Mental Health and wellbeing. Dani supported our Women’s wellness peer support group leading a session to support their mental health and wellbeing with proactive approaches to help them rebalance their physical and mental health.  Her session was very well received and feedback positive.  We had several requests for future workshops.

After positive feedback from the peer support group session Dani joined the Revival Mental Health bank where professional practitioners offer free mental health support and therapeutic interventions at the point of need.  Dani is an important part of its development and success.  Dani has worked with groups, as part of her 7 Mindsets to Wellness programme and also offers Trauma informed Health Coaching on a 1:1 basis.  Feedback from her sessions has been consistently positive, her impact measurable via our Warwick and Edinburgh Mental Wellbeing Scales assessments.

I was feeling quite frustrated not knowing what route to take in order to better my habits and lifestyle to improve my mood and energy levels and the associated cravings. Having flagged this up to doctors initially, I was running out of ideas. Dani was the answer and has been extremely supportive through the programme.

She understood my problems and worked with them accordingly. I have a better understanding of how to fuel my body with what it needs and Dani explained how I could achieve this with my dietary requirements and schedule/routine. I would encourage anybody I know to pair up with Dani.

I was lucky enough to access Health Coaching with Dani Simpson through Revival in Whitstable. I was in a job that was exactly the opposite of what I wanted or needed that was draining me emotionally. I was at a difficult crossroads with a family member which made me question had I made a huge mistake in moving to Kent. I was getting into a cycle of self-sabotage with eating and drinking so, overall I was in freefall which was making me anxious and affecting my sleep and mood.

The sessions I had with Dani started with a short grounding exercise and through talking about options and with gentle nudges about sleep, nutrition, exercise and lifestyle, I began to make subtle changes in these areas. This helped me massively to get back on track and knowing that Dani was in my corner cheering me on gave me a great boost in confidence.

Now, I am doing a job I love and am conscious that sleep and good healthy fuel both play a huge part in my mental wellbeing. Although I deviate sometimes I now have all the tools to get back on track.
