The Reculver Towers and Roman Fort can be seen to the east where 12th-century church towers sit amid the remains of a Roman ’Saxon Shore’ fort.

Just moments from the property, Herne Bay station gives easy access to the surrounding coastal towns by rail and a direct route to London (70 mins), Margate (11 mins), Broadstairs and Whitstable (8 mins). Just along the coast and 12 minutes by car Whitstable is renowned for its famous oysters and charming working harbour.
